For some reacon whenever I save the contents the editor it strips out the qualifying part of the url.

for all image src references

ie http://www.help.com/here/test.gif becomes here/test.gif

I explicitly set the following properties to false

Editor.UseRelativeLinks =

false;

Editor.RemoveServerNamesFromUrl =

false;

Is there something I'm missing

To get fully-qualified links, all you need to do is set

RemoveServerNamesFromUrl="false"

I've set up a demo page for you:
