Zaphod,
- sorry, I know you already hate me.
>> Not yet.
I want to register the 10 license agreement and I'm interested in how it works. I won't be using the editor, my clients will. Do they access a secure site, select the page they want to update, update it and upload/submit? Just not sure how it works. Also, which do I chose, .NET 3.0 or 4.0? I just want to set up clients sites on a local ISPS server, give them access to a WYSIWYG and let them go for it.
1. First you need to make sure your web server meet the following requirements:
Server:
Component | Supported Type |
Operating System | Windows XP Professional, Windows 2000 Professional, Windows Server 2003 |
Framework | Microsoft .NET Framework 1.0 or 1.1 |
2.Please note that the Cute Editor is a textarea replacement. You still need to write some business logic to implement the Cute Editor into your applications.
For example, many asp.net developers replace the Textarea in the existing content management system (
forums,
news letter and portal....) with Cute Editor.
3. I suggest you choose the version 4.0 if the editor works for you.
