We are looking for a chat component for our product and found this component suitable to our requirments.

I have downloaded the application from the site and trying to use it.

When I crated the virtual directory and tried to load the application, it displays 2 reference files as missing 1. CommunityServerComponents.dll and 2. MemberRole.dll. Also, it could not load the web.config file.

 

I am looking for some help.
Also, I would need some help document to setup the application with our application.

If you are using the CuteChat for community server, you can find those two dlls from your community server project.

Yes, I am using CuteChat for community server. I searched my PC for those two dll's but could not found it.
Where do I get those two dll's from?
OR tell me the link from where I can download the whole application again with those 2 dll's.

I have another query, would we able to customize the cute chat database according to our application?
We have user name and passoword of each user and based on their login we would be logging in to the chat application.

Please check your community server project bin folder.

bin/CommunityServer.Components.dll 
bin/MemberRole.dll

 

Without those two dlls,  you can't run the community server correctly.

If you are using the community server,  it's already integrated.

If not, you need to write your own provider.

 

 

I searched for those dll's on my PC but could not locate it. I think, I should download the new zip file from the site.

My requirement is to add a live chat component in my application. Please suggest me the product name and url from where I can download it. Earlier I had downloaded "CuteChatforCommunityServer1.zip" and "cutechatstandalone.zip".

It would be better if you suggest me the product according to my requirement mentioned above. Any installation help document would be good for me to understand the installation/setup process of the component.

Still, I could not make it work. I have few more queries below.

 

1- Installed CuteChat application using "CuteChatsetup.msi".

2- Created a new web Project(C#.Net) and added the Refrence of CuteChat.dll from bin folder

of the Installed file in the Program Files Directory of my Primary Partition.

3. In the Tool bar I added Cute Chat tools using Add components Tab.

4. I also added CuteChat.lic file to the \bin directory for the web application that uses

the CuteChat.

5. When i tried to add ChatSystem control on my WebForm...it gave Following error

"Operation Could Not Be Completed"

What is the Right Method to Configure and use ChatSyatem in a WebApplication?

How do I configure them? If you have any sample application please provide it or any link

where I can read the help.

When I run the demo application, it gives an error duirng of some class library at run time.
