Need help with Special Characters

Hi,

I am having issues with special characters. I have the © symbol on my editor but when i view the html version, it is still showing ©. How can i get it to show the html entity number instead of the © symbol.

Sean,

Cute Editor handles the entity conversion in the server side instead of client side (performance purpose).

Go this example: http://cutesoft.net/example/general.aspx

After click the submit button, © will be converted to ©.

Is there any way i can stop the conversion from © to © but have it's html entity number instead? Is is causing problems with a third party software that I am using with cute editor.

Do you mean a a third party software is not compatible with & # 1 6 9 ;

No, the third party is not compatible with the with © symbol in the html. I need it to be & # 1 6 9 ; in the html.

So the javascript API for getHTML will not work since it is still getting the copyright symbol.

If you are using JavaScript get the content from editor in the client side, you need to write some code replace @ to number entity.
