I get below error when I test my website from IIS

A valid license cannot be granted for the type CuteEditor.Editor. Contact the manufacturer of the component for more information.

It works fine from VS2005 without any licensiung issue.

I am on tral version and hasn't expired yet.

Please check your project bin folder and make sure CuteEditor.lic exists.

Thanks. Publish website didn't copy lic file

How can I set up my VS 2005 that the license-file will be published?

I've the solution.

Expand the web.config by adding the following source code:

<configuration>

   <system.web>

      <compilation>

         <buildProviders>

           <remove extension=".lic" />

           <add extension=".lic"

               type="System.Web.Compilation.ForceCopyBuildProvider"/>

         </buildProviders>

      </compilation>

   </system.web>

</configuration>

Now the license-file is published within the whole website.
