How do I set the cursor at a specific point in the CE text?

 

For example:

 

This is a sample of |some words.

 

The | represents the cursor:

 

1. How do I get the character position as an integer?

2. How do I set the cursor to a specific position?

Cute Editor doesn't provide this kind of API.

 

You can use the following API to get the editor Document objet and implement your own method:

 

Getting the Active Editor Document

In order to find the active editor document, you would type:

// get the active editor document
var editdoc = editor1.GetDocument();

 

 

It's not an API thing.
