Setting Culture for Chat

I have fully integrated CuteSoft LiveSupport to our web solution and translate SupportCustomer, SupportCustomer2, SupportFeedBack ASPXs pages but now im facing with SupportClient.aspx that inherits ChatPageBase so I can't inherit my base page to translate automaticly...

Ive seen that there is localization XML files but they only seems to work with Client settings OR can be overrides by a server culture ex. fr-CA... I want to set the culture depending on information I have in MY solution (User culture)... We are currently using culture in our solution by setting the System.Threading.Thread.CurrentThread.CurrentCulture to the culture we want to use...is there any way to map CuteChat on this? Or overrides and set the culture we want per user?

Step 1. Login as admin and click the chat admin button.

Step 2. Choose the Configuration tab.

Step 3. Choose the Culture Type to "Default Server"

Step 4. In the Custom Culture field, type the custom culture name. For example: fr-FR

The only choice I have in culture type are:

1- Default (Client)

2- Server

3- Client

And this is in admin of Cutechat I have just installed because I don't have admin screen in the integration package of LiveSupport...

Cute Chat and Cute Live Support shares the same admin consolde and integration package.

Step 5: Add the chat admin button in your web pages

Custom Culture field is just under the culture type selection.

The step 3 can't be set because I do not have this Culture Type... Like I said I have only 3 choice in the drop down of Culture Type :

Default (Client)

Client

Server

We are currently integrating the live support to be part of our solution and hte possibility to be multi-culture is mandatory... hope we can find a way to correct/implement fast...

In those three options, can you just choose 'server'?

Yes but if I do so it will always take the Culture that I put in the CustomCulture... ex fr-CA....

But we need to set different culture for our Users...server side....actually we set the Thread culture for our solution...is there a way to map the chat ressource on the thread culture?

No. It's by design. Unless you change the source code of it and recompile the whole project.

Can we expect this feature to be implements in the next version/patch? Because we wont go for the source code license since we are a development company and we wont get a ROI on this kind of license...

No. We don't have plan to change this part in the new version.
