Cute Editor doesn't do anything to change PDF DPI. If you have a piece of HTML code which contains an Image, if the DPI of the image is 72, the DPI of the PDF will be 72. If the DPI of the image is 300, the DPI of the PDF will be 300.
You can use photoShop to check the DPI of the PDF files.
