Can someone post the details on how to get the spell checker to work.  I can not make any sense out of the documentation provided.

I have the "en-US.dic" in the bin directory of the cuteeditor root

I have the "NetSpell.SpellChecker.dll" in the bin directory of the cuteeditor root

 

When I click on the spell check button it gives an ast.net general error

 

Please help with this issue

Place the dictionary and the NetSpell.SpellChecker.dll in the bin folder in the root of your website.

 

It can help if you have a web.config file like the one below, to find out what's wrong.

 

The last line (<globalization culture="en-US"/>) forces the spellchecker to use the US dictionary, otherwise it will be using the system language in your web server (probably is US as well).

I copied the web.config example and placed the file in the CuteEditor_Files folder, I don't know if this is the right location, but any way, when I try the spell check, I get the next error: line 22 : <authentication mode="Windows" />.

 

I don't know much about .net, so tell me, what did I do wrong?

 

p.s. The .net framework is install on the server.
