Suddenly getting application error

I've been using DotNetGallery for over a year and all of a sudden I am getting an application error: (click on an image)

Any suggestions?

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

            </configuration>

Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

I created the web.config file and copied it to the webroot, the dotnetgallery folder and the dotnetgallery_files folder - no change

I am not asking you recreate the web.config file.

I'd rather not provide my FTP login.

Instead, please just explain what it was you were asking me to do!

So far, you have told me to "Please enable the details of this specific error message" and when I asked how you posted a screen cap of a page that was telling me to "recreate the web.config file"

It's supported.

But you are not able to provide the detailed error message and I can't get it myself without FTP access.

Right - Now we are back to where we were. As near as I can tell, you are asking me to:

Right? Is that what you want me to do or am I missing something here?

Then you said: "I am not asking you recreate the web.config file."

And then I said: "What are you asking me to do then?"

So - the question is: If you don't want me to "recreate the web.config file" please identify what part of it you ARE asking me to do?

Please, rather than continuing to show utter disdain for your customer - please just take a minute and type a clear response.

Doug,

You need to modify the web.config file that is used by your application.

Case 1:

You have an application http://mysite.com/myGallery and myGallery is a virtual directory. You should find the web.config file under http://mysite.com/myGallery.

Case 2:

You have an application http://mysite.com/myGallery and myGallery is not a virtual directory, it's just a regular folder under the root. You should find the web.config file under http://mysite.com/
