Security exception problems

Hi,

My editor used to bring up a security exception for the spellchecker but the file managers and insert image button worked using version 2 .net

I have lately upgraded the to the lastest version of the editor still runnning in .net version 2 and nothing will load i just get

Operation could destabilize the runtime

I switched to version 1 and the pages and editor were loading and now the spellchecker is working but not the filemanager and insert image button. (the image gallery button seems to be working fine)

Not to sure what to do to get it working, any advice would be appreciated

Try the steps below.

1. Create a folder under and name it "CuteEditorTemp".

2. Open your web.config and add the following entry:

<add key="CuteEditorTempPath" value="~/CuteEditorTemp" />

Hi,

I still get the same result after doing the above. I tried in version 1 & 2. I copied the error I got from the insert image button while running in version 1.

I upgraded to the latest release yesterday so version 5.3.

Im not to sure what version I had before it was from quite a while ago.

What's your .net framework version?

Did you change your host or your host change the security policy? Please make sure the security trust level at least is medium.

Has a solution been found for this issue? I'm getting the same error using 5.3.0.0 on a hosted .NET version2.0 server.

I tried that - same error.

I'm assuming the <add key...> goes within <appSettings> tags?

Are you sure you are using the DLL for asp.net 2.0?
