Problem in Dnn 4.4.0

Hi,

I just tried to install a trial of the software into my DNN installation, however I get the following error message in IE 7.0, i get a similar one in Firefox to. I followed the install instructions, and the modules add to the page, its only when you try to open a chat window.

If I visited your chat room by the following URL:

It works OK.

Thanks for the reply,

the link you provided gives me the same error. I installed it under a DNN 4.3.5 install and it worked fine, however I cannot get it to function properly in 4.4.0.

Onionman,

I checked the DNN 4.4 today. The installation has no problem at all. Can you set up FTP access to your site and send it to me through PM?

Hi,

I have tried it on a 4.4 install both on a server and on my local pc, and I get the same sort of error messages in both, however it works fine in the earlier versions. I get similar errors from firefox. I'll create you a FTP account for you to have a look at it. Want me to PM or e-mail you the credentials?

Onionman,

Done.

I created two test tab under home tab.

Tab 1: I created an embed chat room. It works

Tab 2: I created 4 standard chat rooms. They work as well.

I still get the same error's in firefox 2 and ie 7.0, tried on 2 different computers- one with win vista and one with XP and get identical errors, doesnt matter if im logged in or not.

Onionman,

I've tried with IE 6, IE 7 and Firefox 1.5 and 2.0. All work.

I think the problem is related to something else.

Maybe Norton block the Script.

No its not any anti virus, the one pc doesnt have any installed, i can provide you with a list of all the errors it comes up with (theres about 6 of them).

It is strange, it works on every dnn version except 4, I am going to try install it on dnn 4.3.7 and then upgrade dnn to 4.4 and see what happens.
