"UI_USER_Silence" on DotNetNuke (Standard Only)

I am attempting to configure the DotNetNuke module for CuteChat and am having a problem using the Standard module. When any non-administrator opens a room from the Lobby, they are connected to chat but have the phrase "[(UI_USER_Silence)]" next to their name and are unable to particpate. Please note that if I use the Embedded module that this problem does not occur.

Any assistance is appreciated.

I can't reproduce this error.

Can you upgrade to version 3.1.1 and test again?

When upgrade to 3.1.1, please update CuteSoft.Chat.dll, all client files and run the followintg upgrad script:

upgrade_3.1_to_3.1.1.sql

Adam,

Thank you, but I used the version of the DotNetNuke package which is currently available from the site (downloaded yesterday). Sounds like you are asking me to update the DNN installation with the basic controls? I'm sure I can figure it out... and will follow-up shortly.

I downloaded CuteChatStandalone.zip. From this file I took CuteSoft.Chat.dll (description states it is 3.1.1 although actual "version" still says 3.1.0) and placed in my /bin folder. I then ran "upgrade_3.1_to_3.1.1.sql" (which renamed 4 columns). But this appears to have had no effect.

I just downloaded the new package. Cleaned out old artifacts and am reinstalling from scratch... back in a few moments.

Unfortunately, this does not appear to have changed anything. I am attaching a screenshot which shows a Host user and a normal registered user logged into the chat...

Have you cleared your browser cache while testing?

Does it happen to all users or this particular users?

Is your site online so you can provide a URL for testing and FTP access for debugging?

Hi,

I have the same problem.

My user in the chat get the "UI_USER_Silence" status.

How do I solve this problem??

Peter,

Have you ever set up a hidden room and this user tied to get in the room by URL then got him/her locked accidentally??
