Need Assistance with these issues.
PROBLEM 1. Changing fonts that where you change overlaps different fonts (either in color, size, or font) it does nothing under one scenario and under another it has unintended effects of changing orther text not meant to be modified
Scenario A:
Steps to Repeat.
ii. In the first line, highlight the entire line, "When your algorithmic and programming skills have reached a level which you cannot improve any further" and change it to a red color.
iii. Now highlight the first part of the sentence,"When your algorithmic and programming" and attempt to change the font color to green. It does nothing and this is a problem.
Scenario B:
iv. Now go in the same first line and highlight the text, "programming skills have reached a" and change it to green. It does change.
v. Next highlight the following text, "your algorithmic and programming skills" (which is both red and green) and change it to blue. It does change to blue, but it return the rest of the line back to black and this is a problem as this was not intended.
PROBLEM 2: The font size changes and font type changes are erradic in the same fashion.
Start with what you ended with above and complete the following scenarios to see the issues here.
Scenario C:
vi. Now highlight, "and programming skills have reached a level" and through the font size "to 4 (14pt)" it changes the font size, but also eliminates the blue color from the preceding text which was overlaped by the font size change. The "your algorithmic" should have remained blue and it didn't and that is again a problem.
Scenario D:
Now highlight the text across the two cells of text on the right hand side and change the font, by selecting "Comic Sans MS" when you do this the second section is changed correctly,
but not only is the first section not change correctly as it appears to go to Arial, but the font sizing done in the previous scenario was lost and this is a problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated in addressing these problems.
thank you!
