Is there anything I can do to decrease the load time for this editor?  It seems to take forever to load.  I have cutomized  the toolbar to only include the buttons I need.  Is there a way to preload it,  like you can do with images using Javascript?  I created the control at design time - and set it to invisible.  I then make it visible when the user clicks a certain button.  And then invisible when the user saves.  I don't think the visibility affects the load time though.

We implemented many methods to improve the loading speed.

By default, the Cute Editor loads all the functions, toolbars and menus. Most of our clients don't use the default configuration and create their own toolbar set.

I can't see any. So I would always set it off. When should I set it true?

Differences:

 

1. Many end users like the rich dropdown menus.

 

2. When RenderRichDropDown=true, CuteEditor will render more HTML code to the browsers.

 

3. When RenderRichDropDown=true,  a treeview link dropdown menu is rendered.
