    Visual Studio Integration

I added a reference to CuteEditor.dll to my project references and copied the client files to my application directory.  I then attempted to follow the instructions for installing Cute Editor for .NET in my Visual Studio toolbox.  Where the toolbox context menu in your instructions shows a Customize Toolbox option, mine shows only an Add/Remove Items option.  When I click on this option I get the same Customize Toolbox dialog as your example.  However, when I browse to the cuteeditor.dll file and attempt to add it to the toolbox I get an error that says "Insufficient state to deserialize the object.  More information is needed."  Any clues?  Anyone?

    mojobikeman,

Do you load the CuteEditor.dll library from a network drive?

If so, you can open the Net configuration manager, security directive: increase
    trust on shared network assembly.

    Betreft: Re: Visual Studio Integration

    Dear Adam,

When I try to add CuteEditor (like described in the Developer Guide) in Visual Studio 2005 I get an error message (See screenshot: http://www.dataconsult.com/cuteeditorerror.jpg) when I select the dll.

I've imported the 3 files from the bin\framework 2.0 folder into the bin folder of my website (G:\nwebs\ryedb_2063).

When I browse to the dll, do I need to browse to the dll in the bin folder or to the dll on my U-drive (where I store all my downloads)?  I've tried both without success .

Have you any advise for me?  Maybe the suggestion from above, but I don't understand what you mean with "Open the net configuration manager", where can I find this?

    Kind regards,
    Bart
