Hi,

 

We are using this editor for English and Arabic content. For some reasons, the Arabic content in the Editor is displaying as junk characters.

Can anybody help me to sort this out?

Do you have the right Arabic fonts loaded and the page pointing to the correct codepage?

Hi,

 

Thank you for the info. We are using the editor for a CMS where the intrface is in English. When we type in Arabic it is displaying perfectly and the data is also stored. The same data when we call in the editor it is displayed as junk characters.

 
Is there any property available to set the codepage for the editor only? Please help.

Can somebody help me to resolve this. I would like to display the content in the corresponding language within the editor. The interface etc. can remain in English.

To display Arabic, normally we use the folowing code in HTML:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1256">

Can I specify a charset for the editor based on the content. We have flag to denote the content language.
