Unable to hide chat room

Hi,

I have set up a chat room and I want to keep it hidden until we open on specific days for moderated chat.

I check off the hidden box in the admin section, but it does not hide it.

Any suggestions? I chatted with live support but they had no ide.

Janine,

Please try the following steps.

1. Detect the admin is online or not.

2. If the admin is online, show the chat room. If the admin if offline, show the message "Chat room is not available".

We use this method in our live support application.

Where do I set that up?

Why wouldnt checking off the hidden option just hid the room.

Janine,

You can use the hidden option if you want to hide the rooms from your users.
