• Re: using VS2005 - major problems

Yep, it's really looking like it's the editor. I pulled the editor off of the page and removed any references to it and the HttpException went away. This is probably a config error on my part, but I don't know how I could possibly track it down with that worthless error message. Plus, it seems to me that if the editor has an issue with ...

I'm also getting an error like that, but mine is more like /MyCompany/admin/secure/null : File does not exist (HttpException). It happens after I hide the panel that contains the editor, but not when I show the editor. It's not a very helpful error message; I'm only seeing it on pages that have the CS Editor. Ideas?

I'm having about the same issue. I'm bumping your topic so we can get some help. I'm migrating a site that uses CuteEditor heavily and having a ton of issues with the editor.

Dude, why not grab cutesoft.com and forward it to here? It's annoying when 95% of companies use .com and a few use .net instead. If you want it to be cutesoft.net that's cool, but don't force me to change cutesoft.com to cutesoft.net when I want to go to your website. -- Justin

  • Re: Scroll position resetting on menu select

Now I see it. It's happening on one page that has an editor but not on a different page. Do you have a meeting software of some sort that we can use for me to show this to you? It's not in a publicly available area, so I can't give you the password. And changing it is a pain since it's encrypted etc. Edit: I'm not terribly worried about ...

  • Re: Scroll position resetting on menu select

I know these sorts of bug reports must drive you batty. I couldn't reproduce it on that page. So I tried it on my page again and it didn't happen there either. Shrug. Problem solved itself I suppose. I'll keep an eye out and see if it happens again.

  • Scroll position resetting on menu select

I've posted on this before but couldn't find my previous post. When I use the current ver of CE (4.5.0.0?) and I select a paragraph then apply a style to it (from the inline styles) the editor's scroll position resets to 0. So every paragraph that I set a style on I have to scroll down and find where I was. Is this a setting ...

  • Using the full path to the css file

I'm trying to send an HTML format email via cute editor and would like to specify the CSS file as a full path ( ''http://.......'') . However when I try to do this now, I get an error. I'm using edit full doc mode. I can just manually replace the <LINK > text when i save to my db, but i'd rather not. Is there a way for me to use the ...

  • Re: problems storing html from/to db with cute editor

I got this fixed. The solution was to delete the entire cutesoft_client directory in my application, delete the old dlls and place the new ones in. I'm not sure what was happening but it's working now. Thanks for the help.
