• Re: Cell Properties dialog...default sizing.

Turns out I had the same problem with the Row Properties dialog as well. I found both lines in the WinIE.js file for both dialogs...but after making the changes...saving the changes to WinIE.js...nothing has changed. I cleared my browser cache, and still nothing. I suppose that I have a IIS cache problem...I am still learning ...

  • Cell Properties dialog...default sizing.

The Cell Properties dialog under Windows XP does not show the buttons on the bottom of the page without scrolling...but under Windows 2000 it displays correctly. Has anyone else come across this problem? Could this be our default Windows XP scheme? I know...picky...but we did get a few support calls.

  • Re: Undo...what is it supposed to do?

What a can of worms I opened...thanks for the update. I suppose that if what your are saying is true, the CuteEditor coders have some serious work ahead of them to fully implement undo functionality outside of the MSHTML...bummer. I guess I need not ask what we should expect from the Redo option...thanks again.

  • Undo...what is it supposed to do?

Can we get a clarification on the limitations of the Undo button? My users are getting varying results, and the documentation simply suggests that it should undo the last editor operation. Sometimes creating and editing tables is tedious work, but my users are complaining that they cannot undo any table operation...and I can confirm. Should this ...

  • Re: Hide/Remove Save Button

I am not sure what you mean...when you define a custom layout, just exlcude that menu button. An example of a menu layout we use without the option... CuteEdit.Template = ...

  • Re: SaveAs and Open dialogs

CuteEditor is certainly a more complete control...is it better...I suppose that depends on how you define ''better''. I like it, and have not returned to FTB. CuteEditor offers improve table editing and support, better image support, and improved dropdown listbox support. Configuring the control is about the same as FTB...which is to say easy. The ...

  • Re: SaveAs and Open dialogs

Prior to this control I also used FTB, and this control can get you the text as well...see post http://www.cutesoft.net/Forums/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=323. As far as the rest of your code, it should work as is...after you change the control names of course and update your menu definitions. FTB did not allow custom buttons and actions when I was using ...

  • Re: Spell Checker

agreeveHave you had any luck adding words to the ignore list? I finally got the IgnoreHTML property to work properly...but this editor is putting ''nbsp'' in some spaces between words and the speller is picking them up, less the '';''.
