• Re: Deploying Framework 2.0 files

Many thanks, J. You're quite right. FYI, I did have to copy the NetSpell.SpellChecker.dll and dic files from the 1.x version bin, as there was no corresponding 2.0 version. But it worked fine. I greatly appreciate your assistance!

  • Deploying Framework 2.0 files

Your download for CuteEditor 5.3 includes a Framework 2.0 folder; how are the files within that folder used in conjuction with the files in the 1.x version, in the course of a deployment to an ASP.NET 2.0 application? Am I supposed to copy the 1.x files to the application, then update them with the subset that is in the ...

Hi Terri, Thanks for responding. I concur, the product works fine when running. (ie., your step 4: browse the default.aspx) However, what do you experience when you hit the Build button? That is where I'm encountering the error. (I'm using the identical Beta 2 build). We were planning to ...

  • Great looking control; can't wait for it to be supported in VS2005 ...

The product seems to run fine under the ASP.NET 2.0 framework, but any attempt to include it in a VS2005 project results in ''Could not load type 'CuteEditor.Dialogs.GetFileThumb''' compile error. This apparently results from the VS2005 attempt to compile the aspx pages in the CuteSoft_Client/CuteEditor/Dialogs ...

  • Re: Could not load type 'CuteEditor.Dialogs.GetFileThumb'

Yes, I followed the directions in the Developers Guide explictly. I also just tried simply opening the sample Demo app and running it directly, but received the same load error. Deleting the GetFileThumb.aspx page that needs this type eliminated the load error and allowed the sample Demo app to open without error (although I assume ...

  • Re: Could not load type 'CuteEditor.Dialogs.GetFileThumb'

Adam, No code-behind files were created, the error references the CuteSoft_Client/CuteEditor/Dialogs/GetFileThumb.aspx page, which contains the single line: <%@ PageLanguage=''C#''Inherits=''CuteEditor.Dialogs.GetFileThumb''%>FYI, I had originally simply Xcopied the CuteSoft_Client folder into my app folder, rather ...

  • Could not load type 'CuteEditor.Dialogs.GetFileThumb'

Hi, Has Cute Editor been tested in ASP.NET 2.0 (Whidbey)? I just downloaded & installed per instructions, and I'm receiving a compile time error: Build(web): Could not load type 'CuteEditor.Dialogs.GetFileThumb', in file GetFileThumb.aspx. This occurs in the CuteSoft_Client/CuteEditor folder in ...
