I have the same issue.  Is there an answer to this question.  I am also using the latest ASP version of  CuteEditor.  Please let me know at your ealiest convenient.

Browsers can't keep the special characters when switching the HTML view and Code View.CuteEditor does the conversion work on the server side. Please check the html code after post back.

i got the same problem.  I got it working by setting the always update mode of the cuteeditor's update panel.  UpdateMode=''Always''
