parms3000, If ''admin'' folder is a regular directory under the root, you should not need move the the files and the cuteSoft_client folder. The path of the editor client files is ~/CuteSoft_client/CuteEditor by default. Keep me posted.

Casey, Sorry, the bin folder can't be a virtual directory.Either in the GAC or in the /bin directory.Inetpub/WWWRoot/myCompany/client2/bin/CuteEditor.dll  

OK. I got it. I basically added a check that bypasses the validation when accessing the CuteEditor files. Probably not the best solution, but it works.   Thanks for your help.

 How does load balancing work with the CuteEditor and the uploads folder for user added images etc.?

No.   You just need to give aspnet account r/w permission to the following folder:.   CuteSoft_Client\CuteEditor\ImageEditor\TempFiles
