  • Re: Version 5.0 CuteSoft ASP Upload Error - Now Fixed

Hi I had our Server Guy make the change to our Web Server to deal with this same issue. He set the limit to 500K. I set the editor limit to 300K. As long as the 500K limit isn't exceeded, the editor handles things gracefully. If the upload exceeds the server limit, the error described by donf is thrown. Are there more settings to ...

  • Re: Connection error while initiating the live support chat

The error you pasted is pretty generic, you should enable debugging and then try to see what line of code it stops at. I tried to replicate what you are experiencing but it does not do this on my setup. I am having couple of other issues which i posted here as nasty bugs, and are for sure not cuz of my setup, however yours seems like its cuz of ...

  • Re: RenderControl throws an error

I'm still having problems with this - I also need to render the editor to an htmlwriter (for adding to an XML file to be displayed via XSLT)  but when I do it does not seem to initialise properly - the javascript is incomplete, giving me a CuteEditorClientClass is undefined error in the page (in IE)   In IE the editor appears but ...

Hi Adam, thanks for the hotfix. My form managed to submit properly using Javascript now. It's working great in Internet Explorer but looks like it's still broken in Firefox. The Firefox Javascript Console gives   Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... ''Illegal operation on WrappedNative prototype object''  nsresult: ''0x8057000c ...

  • Re: Insert images will lock out the user and produce an error

Hi Adam, I follwoed your suggestion and reinstalled all ressources but without any success. My trials showd me an interesting issue. The error only occurs if I try to use an image of a portal Subfolder. The include of all images that are stored in the rootfolder works correctly. I must be a problem that deals with the access to ...

  • Re: Error After running Cute Eitior once "the application called an interface that was marshalled for a different thread."

Thanks for the quick response. I am a bit closer I guess. I am running IE 6 but by turning off the proxy settings the error goes away. The problem is that everyone else here (15K + people) have the proxy settings turned on and, can only get to internal sites without them.  Any ideas for a workaround or solution?
