Dave,   CuteEditor doesn't reformatting your HTML code.   Please test your html code in the following example:   http://cutesoft.net/example/editregions.htm

Final update - I was a version behind on SlipStream (I've customized it a bit). After I brought it forward to 1.5.2, CuteEditor worked just fine!
