     Hi Ken,   still the same.    With how many files did you tested it? It usually starts to generate problems after process 4 or 5 files.    Also when I tried to set TempDirectory, but with no luck.   I think phpfileuploder works fine, it must be something on server ...

    I should have been more clear.  The filevalidating gets fired DIRECTLY after the file has been uploaded and there are still items left in queue.  This gives you a sort-of parallel processing for the uploads.  The control continues to upload while your method is manipulating the last uploaded file.    The fileuploaded ...

    I'm sorry... of course that validation trick can be done server-side as well. It's working just fine now with an (hidden) extra TextBox that gets its value in the server-side OnFileUploaded event, and a RequiredFieldValidator on that TextBox. Thank you for your help!

    sunny, YES. I have tested it before we publish this solution. We have many clients use this method without any problem. Plase note that the article (Writing to a UNC path with the uploading tools) is our suggestion. You can find your own solution and ignore our suggestion.

    vlad-G,   Glad o know you found the soution. But I suggest you check this example:   http://cutesoft.net/asp/custombuttons-popup.asp   This example has been tested in IE, Firefox and Safari.   It's very easy to create a popop with the above example code.
