RUNGUNMAN,   Yes, you can start from the application license and upgrade to redistribution License.   I think a redistribution license or enterprise license fit your situation.    

The latest version is 4.2.   You can upgrade to the version 4.2 directly.

Dan,  The technology provided with the product, ASPEdit will be merged into CuteEditor for .ASP soon.   CuteEditor for .ASP. has incorporated all the features ASPEdit has and further new releases would be based on CuteEditor only.   We recommend users to upgrade your ASPEdit to CuteEditor.

you might want to try and upgrade your Firefox? My FF 3.6.13 uploads large files just fine with cuteEditor and there is clearly nothing wrong if you use the .htaccess file given to you by your host and IE7.
