I have noticed that in Firefox often some buttons are set to CuteEditorButtonOver when the editor is loaded, see pic.   They are reset only when clicking in the content area ... ce.FocusDocument does not reset them.    

acecuteeditor,   You need to set up roles in your own applications. And you should be able to detect the role of the users to use this feature.

Yes, it does look good. I've never installed another CuteEditor.  I have version 5.xI'll try to figure out which of my style sheets is messing everything up.   Thanks for the response.
