Re: Ajax uploader progress bar doesn't work properly with Internet Explorer 8
Hi Terry, I tried it with all three options and only the
Flash
uploading had shown the above problematic behavior on IE8. Both IFrame and SilverLight (after I've installed it) were working without any problems. I have
Flash
10 installed. Interesting that Firefox 3 was working with
Flash
option OK. Is there a way to fix it for the ...

Re: New server gives error... Not even firing flash component
Can you explain the problem in details? If your site online? If so, can you provide an online URL for testing?

Re: Upload not working
Hi, Currently
Flash
-plugin is not support your case. If the browsers installed
Flash
, the Uploader would try to use
Flash
to upload, And then the
Flash
would prompt the username/password. We already provide a method to just disabled the
Flash
mode ...

Re: file/picture/flash directories problem
I just tried it with the path with \ in stead of /, but that also didn't work. I'm 100% sure that the right path goes into cuteedit, see the screenshot below: But i still get the exception, because somehow cuteedit (?) strips the ep directory part from the path...

Re: Flash: the upload task is interrupted! io Error #2038

Re: Upload errors (IE7, IIS7, Silverlight/Flash + client certificates)
Unfortunately client certificates are mandatory in our scenario. How come the simple file upload is working while the silverlight or
flash
versions don't? Do they use a completely different approach for data transmission?

Re: Custom Embed Object
Hi Eric, Yes i know you can use the insert
flash
or media. However, I wish to embed documents, i.e. pdf, word etc. Right now there is only a button to link to the document. I need to embed the document so that it will show on a page. So the end result will be... <embed ...

Re: Security configuration file
I'm using 6.6...just downloaded it yesterday. It's not a secure environment, just password-protected so that it's not accessible by the Internet Guest User account. Is there a way to disable the
Flash
uploader and try the iframe uploader instead, or is that not a feature on the ASP Classic version? I found two copies of ...
