Grega,   We are not familar with the ModalPopupExtender control.   Please check the following example:   http://cutesoft.net/example/general.aspx   In the insert image dialog, the upload button works fine.   This dialog also is a modal dialog.

If you still can't resolve this issue, please delete the old DLLs and client files, then upload the new dll and client files. When testing, test a very simple page. Then we may have a better understanding about this error message.
