  • How do I upgrade from 6.0 to 6.1?

The cutesoft.net website says there is a free upgrade to 6.1 but I can only find 6.2.  I bought 6.0 earlier this year. So, I tried to upgrade to 6.2 I get a compile error on the following:   C:\mysite\myapp\CuteSoft_Client\CuteEditor\Dialogs\Gecko_InsertDocument.aspx(184): Build (web): Unknown server tag ...

  • How to upgrade?

Hi ya,   We have purchased the CuteSoft editor but I'm having some problems with disabling the right click on the editor itself. I've read in some of the forums that the newest editor has a property EnableBrowserContextMenu  that does this, how does one go about upgrading to the latest editor and can I do this for free?

  • Re: should I upgrade

I agree.  A changelog and a version change would be appreciated so that we know when an update or fix has been made available.  Having to download the package again, just to check the date is more work than it should be. Is there any way to be notified when new builds are released?

  • Re: Image upload issues with upgrade to v6.6

Hi Adam   For the PDF, what version are you referring to? The next release (eg, v6.7) or the next version (eg v7)? Any ETA?   As I said before on access, this is a customer's extranet with sensitive info. They are not keen on allowing access. I can probably create an unprotected page and provide that. Will that suffice? What ...

chillipeppa,   If you own a version of 5.x, it's free to upgrade to the latest version 5.2.   If you own a previous version, please use the following link to upgrade:   http://cutesoft.net/asp/upgrade_to_version_5.asp

I think you mis undertood me.  I did not mention my environment to get treated unlike others.  This was mentioned as an explanation why it is not an option to cut over to .net - how you made your assumption suprises me very much, especially when I read my post again.   Anyhow - is Adam in the more technical ...

  • .NET version free upgrade

Dear customer,   I understand your question. However classic-asp-upgrade-not-free-v.s.-.net-free is our policy. This policy is made based on many factors, including customer base, development cost and market research etc. DotNet version has been free upgrade since version 1 in 2002 and there has always been a upgrade cost for classic ...

  • Re: Upgrade?

Duh!  I'm sorry.  We have the .NET version. So I've downloaded the new version so we will install it and use the current license file. Thanks!  I'm getting ready to purchase a 2nd domain license and wanted to make sure that both servers are on the same version.

Phil,   The folder ASP.NETv1.1 contains the CuteEditor filles for the ASP.NET framework 1.1. The folder ASP.NETv1.0 contains the CuteEditor filles for the ASP.NET framework 1.0.   Because Validate Request attribute is *only* present in ASP.NET v1.1.   It looks like your server is running on ASP.NET ...
