Issue with CuteEditor installed in another web directory.
Hello, I’m using .NET 1.1 and I’m trying to upgrade CuteEditor from 5 to 6 version. I have an issue with that. I upgraded the filepath from filepath=''/
CuteSoft_Client
/CuteEditor'' to <addkey=''CuteEditorDefaultFilesPath''value=''~/../
CuteSoft_Client
/CuteEditor''/> web.config. I can’t use a virtual directory ...

Folder Structure (CuteSoft_Client in parent application)
Is it possible to have the
CuteSoft_Client
folder at the root of a website (which is a 2.0 web app) and be referenced by web apps further down the folder structure (both 1.1 and 2.0)? I tried it once and received a SecurityPolicyFile error when attempting to load the downstream application. In this example, I want ...

Re-using the CuteSoft_Client files in the root of a webserver
I want to put the files in
CuteSoft_Client
in the root of my webserver like so...(screen shot) Then I want to call them inside individual webapps...say the helpdeskscaled folder is a webapp using the editor. I put the following in the editor tag in the helpdeskscaled app... FilesPath=''/

MrLeo: I think in a future release Cutesoft needs to make it east to remove the CuteSoft branding - the folder names are just one example of how much CuteSoft branding is left behind and making these changes as Megabyte indicates requires multiple file changes etc. Yes, we should do that. Thanks Adam. I did edit the Banner file however as I am sure you know, there is more than one banner file used in Cute Chat. This is why I was getting errors when clicking on Admin and Chat Admin links, but this is now fixed. Messenger however is still pointing to the existing folder structure ...
