Flash & Silverlight look to work for IE8, this may be a viable workaround.   Another note,  There are 2 uploader controls on the form and the event is set through a delegate.

1.  It is ASP.NET 3.5 2.  It is Full trust 3.  Silverlight works, but end users require admin privs to install, which is not an option for us.   Any other ideas, or are we at a dead-end?
