The current version of Cute Editor doesn't support MVC. Sorry for the inconvenience. Right now we are working on the Editor 7.0. It will support MVC and web forms.

Have solved the above problem. Server administrator had turned off Sessions. Once he turned them back on it works fine. Now able to update content and retrieve it from the database ok.

Cute Editor for ASP is a pure Script solution. You can ftp the files to your server to install it.
