  • Re: Uploading image is very slow

Version being used is 6.2.   I do not encounter any issue with the online demo.   The issue seems to be related to the folder we are attempting to upload to. This folder is more than 2 gb. It seems to me that the InsertImage UI calculates the folder size of each subfolder. This may be a functionality that might not be necessary for ...

  • Re: urgent: URL rewriting not supported

Back to the original error: Requested URL http://emotifylocal.com/stuart/?   I don't use iis rewriting, but it should not matter. I have made many httphandlers and httmodules and there is no problem. I have been doing url rewriting for years and I know what I am doing. I have a feeling there is something unorthodox in your ...

  • Re: Using StandardDialog

Hi Terry, Yes all the pages are in the same host(domain). I'm just wondering why when I'm not using the Standard dialog, the upload function works ok. But when I started to use the Standard dialog, the flash, 401 error pops-out?  Is there a difference between the two, when handling the uploads? Actually I've tried to add ...

  • Re: No Progress bar in IE

    1. We were already using that setting in our web project.  The upload works fine in FF, but not in IE. 2. The sample code works in IE just fine.  The demos run fine.  Everything std from cutesoft runs fine.  Our actual page does not.  I'm hoping I can find some answers on this forum.   Anything else to try ...

Adam:   You can find the page at http://eduplex.org/CuteEditor.aspx.  The code used for the editor is as follows:   <CE:Editor ID=''ceContentEditor'' runat=''server'' BreakElement=''P'' ConfigurationPath=''~/CuteSoft_Client/CuteEditor/Configuration/Nerd3.config'' EditorOnPaste=''PasteWord'' Height=''500px'' ...

  • Re: mimetype detection

eBay will accept a jpeg named ''image.exe'' and do the right thing (try it). And yet, the cutesoft editor demo will not accept a legitimate jpeg named ''image.exe''. Do you honestly believe that your solution is safer than that of eBay?   HTTPPostedFile's contenttype property checks signatures within the bits of the stream to detect ...

  • Re: Store in SQL - Format of link

Hi Cutechat,   thanks for your reply. As my postings are already 9 months old I found a solution in the meantime for the second problem, and I've modified lots of SQLFileStorage.cs (because e.g. it does not make sense to deny storing multiple files with the same filename in an SQL database....) and Downfile.aspx.   But please have a ...
