I think I am all set.  I managed to do this by wrapping a div around the ajax uploader control.  I then hide and show this div using jquery .hide() and .show() functions.  Let me know if anyone has a better way of doing this.

Hi!   If I add a new category and upload images to that category the images are still just added to the normal ''row'' of images in the Classic Layout. Is there anyway to get the possibility to choose category when viewing the images/thumbnails?   Thanks!

I was looking for more on the features list from the cutesoft editor toolbar with the API calls suntax for each button like insert flash, videos, create a PDF etc etc....   Is there any document to compile that list? that would be very helpful....     Thanks SKH

It appears that my page is reloading (e.g. Page_Load method fires ) after I do an ajax upload.   I tested it in the provided simple-upload.aspx and observed the same behavior there. Is there a way to prevent a Page_Load (e.g. reload)? Thanks  

Adam, no this doesn't work in Firefox.  Once i switch into HTML mode and back to normal couple times, I am completely stuck.  I can't click past the existing stuff to insert anything new.  I've tried it on multiple computers on Firefox.
