Nick,   Word stores the image in its own file system. As as web solution, we don't have permission to access it directly. XStandard maybe able to access it, as it's an Active X control.   I have discussed it with our developers. We may come with an Active-X solution to handle this request in the future release.

i have recently tried to set the background image of a table   unfortunatley its not giving me the domain with the url   eg   what its giving me (/images/test.jpg)   what i want (http://localhost/images/test.jpg)   any help would be brilliant

Does the ThumbJpeg.ashx exist?   If yes, can you post the content of your ThumbJpeg.ashx file?   Can you check your server and make sure your server allows httphandlers...   Keep me posted.    

Can you specificly tell me where the server name tag added can be changed.   the image is gettings the correct name of the server. However i want to change it when the image is uploaded

Sorry to jump in on someone elses post, but I would like that option also.   I would like to have a user confined to his own folder for uploading images/documents, but also give him access to a public folder (an image stock gallery) as read only with uploading blocked on that public folder.
