Javascript API to find caret (insertion point) position in the document.

Can someone tell me how to find the caret (insertion point) position in the document? Thanks in advance for your help?

Adam, Given that CE's own dialogs would suffer the same fate, is there some javascript in your code we can call to do the same thing you guys are doing? Thanks for any help - this is becoming critical for us. Michael

Adam, I appears that the content is being sent to the browser (in the hidden field), but it is not getting decoded/loaded into the textarea (or whatever) - I'm assuming this happens via javascript. Ted

WebResource | AutoPostBack

Are there any plans for CuteEditor.NET to make use of WebResources. We are currently looking for something else as our version (Apr 2008) doesn't use WebResources and it has been deemed bandwidth inefficient compared to a solution that uses WebResources. Also, is AutoPostBack planned (this is not as big an issue since I have a JavaScript ...

how to change ' to '

I copy and past some javascript to HTML file and click Preview button to view it. when I click HTML button back , I find all my ' change to ' , is any possible I can cancel this encoding function of cute editor? Thankssunny

David, You can embed a div tag and assign an ID. When CuteEditor_OnChange event is fired, update the innerHTML of this control like we did in the folllowing example: http://cutesoft.net/example/JavaScript-API.aspx
