Re: Differences between Firefox and IE with Flash and IFrame
Hi, thanks a lot for the information. FF was so fast because it switched, like you said, to html5, but if I set the uploader type only to
flash
then FF isn't faster than IE. The problem seems to be the HTTPS connection +
Flash
. If I use only http then the full bandwidth is used, but with https IE and FF with
Flash
are ...

When will control use flash and when will it not use flash?
Trying to understand how the AjaxUploader decides how to render the upload controls. On my PC (IE ver. 7.0) when I access the AjaxUploader it gets rendered using the NON
Flash
version. When 2 of my co-workders (they are using IE ver 7.0 as well), it gets rendered using the
Flash
version. Why?? What determines hoe the controls get ...

Re: Valid Xhtml Flash insertion with alternative for no flash and google code sniffer..
Adam, I think you missed my point... I don't want to add this manually to the editor ( we already have enablestripscripttags for other things) what I want to do is change the html that gets inserted when you click the toolbar insert
flash
button... eg replace what you have to use the standards compliant, with deprication script that I'd posted ...

Re: PARAM tags missing - Inserting FLASH
ussu36: using version 6.3. Whenever I try to insert a
flash
file within a DIV or TD, the editor does not add the PARAM tags and switching to preview mode does not load movie and switching back to design mode also stops showing the movie. However if I try to insert the same
flash
file outside any table/td/div the param tags are inserted properly ...
