I do not know what code and save logic you are using on your own page, so is hard to tell what is the problem. But the content what you change in the html view will same as the normal view. you can try on demo http://cutesoft.net/asp/EnableAll.asp,  switch to html view an change some content, then click on the save button of editor. you will see the final content save as what you change from the html view.
