Okay so I tired wired connections and I got the same thing with slowness of the menus loading and somewhat with the text lagging and some other issues regarding page properties dissappearing which I had hoped would go away with the RTE.

 

I also went to the demo of the cute editor here and the menus flew right up there like they do on my websites and I had no lagging text issues either. When I came back here to enter this comment and the RTE menus loaded slow as molasses again. The text seems more responsive however. I am thinking something on load menus is causing a hang up.

 

Can you try this example as well?
