Questions About Cute Messenger Problem in Cloud Based/Load Balancing Hosting

Hi All, I have been trying to contact the cutesoft support department and have gotten no response so I decided I would throw it out to the forum to see if I can get an answer here. Here is the response to my solution I received from cutesoft:

Hi, my name is Terry , one of the developers of the CuteChat products.

CuteChat is not able simply support load balancing , or 'cloud' , or web farm ,

Because these kind deployment have multiple instances/processes

CuteChat can't share the states between each processes or machines.

So, we provide the NLB mode for that case.

This NLB mode need a special server which is used to store the shared states.

And other servers act as a proxy.

So , for you case , you need to prepair a server to deploy the CuteChat as NLB mode .

That server do not need powerful one , even a notebook can handle it.

A Shared Web Hosting is also enough.

But make sure the special server can access the sqlserver ,

And the network is fast enough to the cloud servers.

    Regards,
    Terry

I have the following questions about this setup that I have not received an answer from cutesoft yet:

    1. What needs to be deployed on the VPS box that runs the cutechat in NLB mode? Is it the entire website? Or just the cutechat files?

    2. Will there be any performance issues running in this setup?

Please if anyone can help me out or if cutesoft support are listening please respond.

    Thanks
