I would suggest that you may do the following to bypass this issue.

 

Wherever it is asing for  $_SERVER['REMOTE_HOST'], you can put  '127.0.0.1' or your websites public IP address.

This should satisfy any "need" for a remote_host ip address, without breaking any functionality.
