I copied the code you provided above into my application and it works very well!  Can you tell me how to tweak this code so that it UPDATES a record rather than creating a new one?  I saw several postings in the help forum related to this topic, but none were too helpful.   Most of them referred me to the link: http://asp101.com/samples/db_edit.asp.  Thanks.
