I gave the uploads folder all the necessary permissions you suggested and it works well. I can now see the files in the uploads folder when I try to import an image from that file into the editor.

Unfortunately, now I see a totally new error stating that "There are too many people accessing the webiste at this time". This error appears in the area where I would normally press the "browse" button to search my system for a file to upload. Any suggestions on how I can fix this?
