I've done as you suggested and still getting the same behavior - even after IIS reset....

Seems like the offending issue is found here (IE8 telling me that this is a problem):

Looks to me as though if I could tell CuteEditor to pull the template.aspx from an SSL connection, all would be fine...

I've turned SSL off for the time being...
