When a div tag is emptied it sometimes disappears from a page completely, which can be inconvenient and confuses users.

 

Div tags can be positively deleted by selecting an appropriate button within the interface or a pop up menu, so would it be possible for the editor to have a feature which ensures that there is always at least a single   located within a div to help avoid the div being accidentally deleted by users who are editing a page.

 

I note that some other editing applications do this, obviously to help avoid problems that can be encountered by users when div tags (and table cells) are left empty.
