This problem seems to happen on Internet Explorer 6 only. Unfortunately, the company policy dictates the use of IE 6.

 

When you highlight some text together with an image next to it and click on the font color button, the editor hung for a while and the IE 6 will display the following message:

 

"A script on this page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may be unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?"

 

Strangely though it works fine if you highlight the text, the image and the text next to the image, then click on the font color button.

 

Does anyone know if it happens in IE 7 and/or IE 8? Is there any solution to this. This issue is tricky to the non techie users.
