Confirm dialog is only available to IE. For other browsers, Cute Editor will clean the code automaically (PasteWord) if the EditorOnPaste is set to ConfirmWord .

In this example, when the user enter line breaks, the HTML code of the Editor is changed. So that the validator would not fire.
For your situation, I sugges you use the MaxHTMLLength property. Hope it helps.
Another solution is creating your own HTML filter and treate this situation as an empty string.
