    Adam:
    Aaron,

I think for some reasons,  you are still using old version.

Can you download the control again and create a seperate application for testing?

    Hi Adam,

Yeah, I'm definitely using the right version.  I was already pretty sure when I posted this, but then last night I downloaded again from http://cutesoft.net/downloads/default.aspx, and then just this morning, as per your instructions above, I downloaded it from the link you provided.

Maybe I'm copying things over incorrectly?  Here's what I do...

    • Download the zip file to a folder on my hard drive
    • Unzip the zip file
    • Go into the resulting folder, and open up the Framework 2.0 folder
    • Copy the entire CuteSoft_Client folder to my website, overwriting the old version
    • Open up the bin folder
    • Copy the follwoing files to the Bin folder on my website:
      • CuteEditor.dll
      • CuteEditor.ImageEditor.dll
      • cuteeditor.lic
      • en-US.dic
      • NetSpell.SpellChecker.dll

You'll note that the Bin folder on my website is capitalized, while the one in the cutesoft files is not, could that make a difference?

Also, maybe it has something to do with the fact that my site is hosted (shared hosting) at GoDaddy, and is currently in preview mode, i.e. it's not using the actual domain yet.  I wouldn't think that would be a problem, since I'm still using the trial license file that comes in the zip file.

You can witness the problem first-hand by going to: http://bayareacareerpathways.org.previewdns.com/Initiatives.aspx.  To open up the editor, hold your mouse over the gray text in the middle (beings "BACPA is committed to a regional approach").  A gray pop-up opens up, select 'Edit Content'.  (You'll note that the first time you do this, the resulting Cute Editor does not populate with the source HTML from the page, but all subsequent times it populates just fine.  This is the subject of another post (http://cutesoft.net/forums/thread/29484.aspx - see bottom) that I'm hoping you can also look at today (thanks in advance)).

When you click on the Image Gallery, or Insert Image icons, for example, you get the error message about ~/UploaderTemp.  I've tried it both with a folder present called UploaderTemp, and without.  In either case it always works on my laptop, and never works on the hosted site.

    Thanks Adam, again as usual.

    Aaron
